My Hair Care Routine (Himalaya #4FabulousHair)



I am quite fussy when it comes to my hair, and always want them to look a particular way. More often than not, you'll see me in a freshly straightened, sleek mane which might look healthy at a glance, but a lot of suffering goes on behind the camera. From constant heat styling to heavy chemicals and everything in between- my hair has gone through a lot! And I wasn't surprised when they turned brittle and prone to breakage.

A few weeks ago, I was invited for Himalaya's hair care experience with its latest range of anti-hairfall products, which contains "Bhringaraja", a special herb that helps strengthening hair from the roots & improves blood circulation that triggers healthy growth.

The Himalaya team gave me a 4-step hair care experience, which was truly relaxing. I continued following the 4-step routine at home, twice every week in a hope to control hairfall and improve its quality. I'm around 6 washes down now, and my hair certainly feels healthier, shinier and I'm experiencing a significant decrease in the hairfall.
Let's go through the 4 steps I've been following using Himalaya's Anti-Hairfall range:

1. Oiling



So I start with massaging with Himalaya Anti-Hairfall Oil for about 15 minutes, making sure to concentrate on the roots & tips and let it stay for about an hour. This is a really important step to ensure blood circulation, and stimulate healthy growth.

Its a step that I often skipped, but they say that once you see the results, you get addicted.

2. Shampooing




It is always better not to use too many chemicals on your hair, as it can strip them of natural oils and make them really dry and brittle. Himalaya's Anti-Hairfall shampoo is made up of Botanical & Herbal extracts, that really helps nourishing & treating the hair.
I massage it in my hair for 5 minutes before washing it off.

3. Conditioning




Post shampooing, I apply Himalaya Anti-Harfall Conditioner to my hair while they're still wet, concentrating more on the tips. This helps smoothening my strands, making them more manageable.

4. Masking


This is a step that most of us don't include in our hair care routine, but it  actually makes a huge difference to your hair!
Post conditioning, I let my hair dry for 5-10 minutes, briefly brush it and then move on to apply Himalaya Anti-Hairfall Cream to the scalp, roots & tips. This further smoothens my hair, and they don't dry up looking frizzy. Infact, they end up looking deeply moisturized & healthy without any fly-aways.

I usually do not have the time to let my hair air-dry, hence I blow dry after every wash and Himalaya's Hair Cream also acts as a heat protectant in that case.


I absolutely love the results after the 4-step hair care routine. As mentioned above, I've experienced a significant decrease in hairfall and my locks look really moisturized & healthy.
