Go Indie | Adopt Don't Shop

I have always had a soft corner for Indian street dogs. Be it little pups with the dreamiest of eyes, or the adult dogs who refuse to grow up, I love all furries out there. No matter how tough their lives have been, Indian street dogs will welcome you with all the warmth in their hearts, they will still carry a sparkle in their eyes. People who can't look beyond the 'street dog”' in them, don't know what they are missing out here!
Here are few of my favourite rescue cases that I have been involved with lately. Even though life has brought them down couple of times, these tough indies refuse to give up! All these beautiful stories are a reminder that every dog deserves a family, a home that they can call their own, a place where they will be adored and looked after, humans that will make sure they never sleep without a meal again.

It isn’t easy being a mother dog on the streets. The one in the above is called Mother.

Grace them with a Cold- Shoulder

I am sure you know that the Cold- Shoulder trend has been flooding the market since the last couple of years, unless you've been living under a rock! It is available in dresses, tops, sweaters, sweatshirts and everything else. The style looks effortlessy chic and sexy, without having you to bare much skin. So, if you're someone who is always conscious about revealing skin, this style is perfect to start with!

A huge shoutout to Rattrap for sending me this basic cold- shoulder top from their SS17 collection, alongside few more cute summer clothes. I absolutely adore their fashion- forward yet pocket- friendly collection. You'll see me donning few more pieces from Rattrap this summer!

So, I wore the Cold- Shoulder top with my favorite pair of Mom Jeans, that I have literally been abusing since I bought it last fall. I finished the look with a pair of Glitter Boots and bright make- up, that added the right amount of glamour to it.

Black. White. Grey. Nudes. Denim. Repeat. - My wardrobe truly revolves around this, with hints of pastels every now and then. I swear by wearable everyday staples, and believe in minimalism!
Occasionally, I try to inculcate more colors in my outfits, however I always find myself coming back to basics.
You know the feeling when you finally put yourself into a different pair of bottoms, but then jump back into your favorite pair of Black Jeggings that you literally wear everyday?!

Anyway, let me know what you think about this outfit in the comments section below :) Also, don't forget to check out Rattrap's collection here.
