Go Indie | Adopt Don't Shop

I have always had a soft corner for Indian street dogs. Be it little pups with the dreamiest of eyes, or the adult dogs who refuse to grow up, I love all furries out there. No matter how tough their lives have been, Indian street dogs will welcome you with all the warmth in their hearts, they will still carry a sparkle in their eyes. People who can't look beyond the 'street dog”' in them, don't know what they are missing out here!
Here are few of my favourite rescue cases that I have been involved with lately. Even though life has brought them down couple of times, these tough indies refuse to give up! All these beautiful stories are a reminder that every dog deserves a family, a home that they can call their own, a place where they will be adored and looked after, humans that will make sure they never sleep without a meal again.

It isn’t easy being a mother dog on the streets. The one in the above is called Mother.

Blues, Whites & Greys

I've been meaning to have this post up since past few weeks but my uncertain schedule did not allow me to write it down. The past couple of weeks have been a constant struggle with so many events taking place back at home. Won't go deeper into that, but one thing that I have learnt from the back-to-back events is to forget the day's troubles, & remember the day's blessings!

Anyway, I'm back with another Winter Outfit inspiration. I've been currently obsessed with the combination of Blues, Whites & Greys- mimicking my favorite place on earth- Santorini! I love how the whole combination gives out positive vibes, calming my nerves immediately!

I have been thinking a lot about Santorini lately, downloading pictures of the beautiful island from the internet (I'm obsessed!), which is what probably influenced this outfit & the background. Also, if you have a look at my Instagram, you would notice that lately I have also (intentionally or unintentionally) posted a lot of pictures with the same color scheme.

Now, getting back to the outfit! I am totally obsessed with this pair of Mom Jeans. It fits really well, & its super comfortable. I paired it up with a grey knitted crew neck sweater, & a pair of my favorite suede pumps. I polished my look with a pair of reflector sunglasses, a wrislet & a sleek silver watch that I wear almost everyday. Also, a bright pink lipstick didn't hurt.
My outfits are usually very basic & uncluttered, and I like to keep them that way.

Hope you have a great weekend, and if you have a minute do let me know what you think of this outfit.
