Midi Skirts came into fashion during early 1900s and were quite dominant during 1940s when Coco Chanel ruled the Fashion Industry. The lengths started getting shorter thereafter.
I am a huge fan of midi skirts, because of the touch of sophistication they give, flattering your curves without making you look trashy!
I'm a bit into Vintage/ Retro fashion presently, so these days you'll often see me flinging on midi skirts, wide leg trousers, crop tops, etc. a lot!
I wore this denim skirt that I bought from Koovs' sale during an online shopping spree recently, and it totally screams "I AM VINTAGE". I love the golden buttons and pocket detailing! I paired it up with a solid black butterfly sleeves top, a boxy sling bag and a pair of oxfords to give my outfit a serious vintage look.
Just in case you were wondering where the pictures have been taken- it's The Great Beer, a microbrewery in Sector- 26, Chandigarh. I love how their outdoors have walls with potted plants all over. It looks so fresh and makes a perfect background for pictures. For a person like me, who loves al fresco dining and loves to connect with nature, its a perfect place to chill at!
